Vintage House Remodel

This house is a good example of how an owner can participate in the remodeling process.  Alpha drew up the drawings and arranged for engineering as well as permitting. Alpha then removed  non-bearing interior walls and provided engineered support for the removal of bearing walls.

We then framed in, upgraded the electrical, moved plumbing  and dry walled/ textured the new floor plans walls.  The owner took it from there, (the picture was take just before she took over) arranging for  the flooring to be installed, and painting the walls herself. 

We called in the inspection for the structural and mechanical changes that we made, she called in the final inspection. She received an additional  bonus in working with Alpha when she received a weatherization rebate for installing new energy efficient windows in place of her older single glazed  windows.
